About me
Entrepreneurial thinking, new technologies and the question of how companies can develop successfully have been with me for many years.

As a founder, managing director and in operational leadership roles, I have come to know companies from different perspectives. What has always interested me most is how ideas turn into viable business models and what companies need for healthy growth.

Whether co-founding and building Logon in South Tyrol, supporting young technology companies such as Runtastic and Smarter Ecommerce, or holding operational responsibility at TSC, The Chilled Snack Company: each of these stages broadened my view of people, organisations and entrepreneurial decisions.

Co-founding Akarion took me into new technological territory once again. Blockchain technology fascinated me. At the same time I was able to contribute my entrepreneurial experience, as managing director of Akarion GmbH in Linz and as a member of the management board of Akarion AG in Munich.

Beyond my own companies, I engage with technological developments, among other things as president of the Blockchain Initiative Austria and in technology working groups at Austrian Standards, including on artificial intelligence.

Today these experiences come together in my activities around MC TechAdvisors and Solerte. Sustainability, digitalisation, governance and responsible leadership are not separate topics for me. They belong together.

What drives me is curiosity about new things, the joy of shaping a business and the conviction that good ideas need people who take responsibility.

I was born in South Tyrol and come from a family with its own farm. That is also where my understanding of sustainability has its roots.
